There is one feature that stands out, that I found particularly interesting--the naturalisation of the differences between Libl and Con. Con news personalities are pneumatic, Lib newspeople are etherial. There is a reminder of Australian totemic systems where one phratry/.moiety is red, the other black, or one has flat faces the other round etc. In that system intra-moiety incest is forbidden, exogamy rules.
