Next term I plan to pursue an independent study focusing on Islam in the Americas. Although much of my work will focus on North America, works/discussions on Muslims in Central and South America will be included. At the end of the term, I plan to put together a working syllabus for a potential class on Islam in the Americas. I will be sure to post it on this forum and hopefully will receive some feedback from the rest of you!
