So far in humankind's history no protests have brought any lasting, fundamental improvements, because we might know well what we don't like in our lives, but we are not quite clear about what it is that we would like our ideal world to look like.

To effect any lasting improvements in the world, we have to collectively design such a world first, and only than, after we know what it is that we want, we have a chance to create such a world.
