Hi everyone!

 

I was wondering whether anyone has compiled a list of readings on the anthropology of war and violence and is willing to share it with me! i am preparing for my Phd prelim exams so any help will be much appreciated!

Hi Iamia, I'm by no means working at your level but "Shadows of War: Violence, Power and International Profiteering in the Twenty-First Century" by Carolyn Nordstrum is a brilliant book on the topic, one of the best genuinely unputdownable ethnographies I've ever read. Good luck with the Ph.D!
