@Norman - see the discussions in the filmmaking and photoethnograhpy groups. we have to see when/how to merge the different subsections of visual anthropology into one group, but I still advocate a bottom-up approach: define the specificities first, have everybody work on what they know best (and this can never be ALL of visual anthropology at the same time, probably), and then learn from one another.
