this film "music walk" was not exactly a part of an anthropological research, it happened in the context of the Collective Amnesia 2009, its a encounter part of the Anamnesis project, that deals with cinema, sound and oral tradition. last year three groups of young artists, from Belgium, Italy and Portugal gather one week in the belgian Westhoek, to make audiovisual and sound works about this particular region. the results were very circunstancial and they were simple approaches to the region and his people. some people went more experimental and other explored more the documentary style, making small portraits of the villagers where we stayed. im my vimeo page theres another film, made in this context "Au monde de mille coleurs"
