In August OAC's
Oscar González wrote in the Theory for Anthropology group that:
If somebody wants to arrange information for comparing situations looking for cultural signs into them, I think that Situation theory offers a language with capabilities for writing ethnographic information down and make formally well written comparisons.
Situation theory may indeed be a useful language in which to describe cultural situations and linguistic or other communicative exchanges. Since I had been reading some of the situation theory and situation semantics literature I have decided to post several articles introducing the theory. These will be posted as a series of articles on my web site, which supports the use of LaTeX equations. I will be linking to these articles here, as I write them, hoping they will be of interest to members of this community.
I will be updating this page as I post further articles in the series.
