Stacy,

You may have noticed that there are, not one, but two experts on the Wapishana/Wapichannoa currently debating on the OAC forums... never before did so many honorary citizens of Aishalton congregate in one 'place'...

Dear Stacy,

I was thinking of submitting a review - not written yet! - of Thinking Through Things (Holbraad, Henare and Wastell, eds). Actually, Amiria Salmond suggested the idea to me of doing the review in the first place.

Wonder what you think. Also, I'm aware that Martin Holbraad is up in January for the next OAC seminar, so the timing might be good, possibly?

Regards,

Phil Swift

Hi Stacey!
Sorry if I've accepted your invitation to the reviewers group with so much delay! I was in the full of the preparation for my Ph.D. admission examinations that I passed on Nov. 10th. Now I would be happy to get involved with the group and reviews... hope to help in some way! Have a nice day!

Hello Stacy,
My name is Jara Hulkenberg. I have just started a post-doc position at the Centre for Pacific Studies in St Andrews to do research with Fijian migrants living at the military barracks in Edinburgh. Craig Lind advised me to contact you, because I am interested to write a review of Greame Were's book 'Lines that Connect'. I don't have it yet, but Craig said I might be able to obtain it via you?
All the Best,
Jara

Hi Stacy... Indeed, yes, the "viva"!!! I've been in hiding, preparing for that, until now. Glad to say it went very well with Christina as my internal and Knut as external - I'll have a proper think about that review now that I have my head back!! Hope all is very well with you, take care...

Hi Stacy! Thanks, that's a very kind invitation - I'd love to! I've added the OAC book review group to my groups (still haven't taken the time to look around the OAC site properly). I'll have to check out any guidelines you have, though I did take a moment to have a glance at titles for review. Couple of things in front of me at the moment - the most arresting being my viva on 29th this month, which is blinkering me somewhat! I'll drop you a line when I get up to speed on what is required of me, though please do let me know if there is anything I should know... Take care, Craig

Hi Stacy!
Thanks for joining the group "human and non-human animals" and for leaving a contribution to the discussion I opened about anthropocentrism.
