The OAC Press is happy to announce our editorial team drawn from the OAC membership!
So far we have launched a Working Paper series with just one paper. Everything else remains to be shaped by the editorial team as a collective. We hope to develop other series soon and have already started preliminary discussions about integrating theĀ seminar series into our publications.
The editorial team will be the principal policy-making body of the OAC Press. We have brought together a fairly large team with a mix of gender, age, status, area, language and specialism. This will allow individuals to vary their level of commitment according to other demands on their time. It will also permit a degree of specialization. Editors’ duties will include commissioning, editing and organizing review of texts, website development and routine policy formation. Even if temporarily inactive, all editors will take part in common decisions, if they wish.
The team of editors will also eventually recruit an Editorial Board from among members of the OAC. These will act as sponsors of the Press, may occasionally be asked to review texts and will be consulted rarely on matters of fundamental strategy. Their duties will be no more onerous than they want them to be.
